The kind of gourmet coffee maker you buy will depend on whether or not you are a coffee enthusiast.  Do you just want a cup of coffee in the morning to wake up and go to work?  Or do you want to savor your coffee in the morning or after dinner.  The price of a gourmet coffee maker can reach several hundreds dollars.  If you are or want to become a connoisseur, the investment is well worth it.

 The features that you want will influence the price.  Think about the following:

 Do you want to have a built-in grinder?Most gourmet coffees only come as whole beans and most people who drink gourmet coffee actually prefer to grind their beans so they can enjoy the freshest flavor.

  • Do you want to have the capability of making expresso or cappuccino?
  • Do you want a programmable gourmet coffee maker so you can wake up smelling the aroma of the coffee?
